Nazhmiddinkhodja Sharipov was born in 1983 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In 2005, Mr. Sharipov graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute (BA & MS) with a degree in Banking, International Monetary and Credit Relations.
In 2012 – Mr. Sharipov graduated from the Higher School of Business under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Since 2003, Mr. Sharipov has held various positions in the Antimonopoly Committee.
In 2016-2018, Mr. Sharipov worked in the Cabinet of Ministers.
Since May 2018, he has held the position of the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Promotion of Privatized Enterprises and Development of Competition.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 24, 2019 Mr. Sharipov was appointed as the Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Karabaev Farrukh Esanalievich was born in 1981 in the city of Angren, Tashkent region.
He has a bachelor’s degree in international economic relations and a master’s degree in world economics and geopolitics at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
Farrukh Karabaev has 15 years of experience in government bodies and international development organizations in developing institutional innovations, implementing structural and regulatory reforms in such key areas of public policy as economic development, effective public administration, competitive, regulatory and consumer policies, as well as improving business environment and investment climate.
Since 2008, he has held various senior positions in the system of the state antimonopoly body, the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and projects of the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 11, 2019 No. PP-4181, he was appointed deputy chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Elmurat Khaitmetov was born in 1972 in Chimkent region, Kazakhstan.
In 1994, Mr. Khaitmetov graduated from the Tashkent State Agrarian University.
Mr. Khaitmetov holds MA degree in «Economics in accounting and finance» and «Finance audit» of the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
He held various positions in the State Competition Committee system (during the periods of 1998-2007 and 2010-2018) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources Management (2007-2010).
Since October 2018, Mr. Khaitmetov had been working as the Financial Director of “IE TOSHELECTROAPPARAT” LLC.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated October 10, 2019, Mr. Khaitmetov was appointed as Director of the Agency for the Protection of Consumer Rights under the Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Azamjon Kurbonov was born in 1981 in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.
In 2002, Mr. Kurbonov graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute with a degree in Finance and Economics.
In 2012 Mr. Kurbonov completed the “Corporate Governance in Industrial Enterprises” courses organized by the Association of Foreign Technical Education (Japan).
In 2015, “Corporate Governance for Top Managers” program by the European School of Management and Technology (Germany).
From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Kurbonov worked as the senior specialist in the Tashkent City Administration of the Committee on Economic Insolvency of Enterprises under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Kurbonov held various positions in the Tashkent City Department of the State Competition Committee.
During 2010-2011 Mr. Kurbonov has worked as the Chief Economist of “Uzkhimprom” JSC; 2011-2013 as the deputy head of the Department in the State Property Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also in 2013-2017 various Senior positions in departments of the State Assets Management Center under the State Competition Committee.
In 2017-2019 Mr. Kurbonov worked in the Cabinet of Ministers.
From February to October 2019, Mr. Kurbonov worked as a Senior prosecutor of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan (junior counselor of justice before the rank).
Since October 2019, Mr. Kurbonov has been working as the Deputy Director of the Agency for the Protection of Consumer Rights under the Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
