28.05.2020 the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 338 “on approval of certain administrative regulations on the provision of public services in the field of Antimonopoly administration in the product and financial markets”.
Namely, the administrative regulations defining a new procedure for preliminary approval of transactions for the acquisition of shares (interests) in the authorized capital and mergers of business entities were approved. Accordingly, together with this order, the procedure for accepting applications in this area in paper form was completely canceled.
To use public services, individuals and legal entities just need to go to a convenient center for public services or apply online through a Single interactive portal of public services.
At the same time, until today, the legislative acts regulating the provision of these public services – Annex 5 to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 230 of August 20, 2013 and Resolution No. 344 of December 27, 2013-have lost their force.
Based on this, we can say that the new solution will significantly save time for individuals and legal entities using public services, eliminate excessive paperwork, and also make it possible to simplify and speed up the implementation of such services.
