The Department provides, within its competence, the protection of business entities from unfair competitors. Also the Department establishes facts of unfair competition related to the acquisition of the exclusive right to means of individualization of a legal entity and means of individualization of goods.
The Department of Unfair Competition Prevention studies the applications of legal entities and, on the grounds of violation of competition law, makes a proposal to initiate proceedings, which is considered by the Special Commission of the Antimonopoly Committee.
