Employees of the department regularly interact with international financial institutions and antitrust agencies of other countries.

Since 2020, the Antimonopoly Committee has been participating in the World Bank’s Institutional capacity building project. Within the framework of the project, measures are taken to conduct competitive analysis in the product and financial markets, develop methodologies for antitrust legislation, organize training seminars and exchange experience with competition authorities of various countries.

An agreement was reached with the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) on long-term cooperation in the field of antitrust regulation and competition development and the implementation of the best practices of the UN member countries in the field of competition law.

Collaboration is developing with representatives of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In particular, in February 2020, representatives of the Antimonopoly Committee participated in the OECD Open Competition Day in Paris, France, where they discussed the latest trends in antitrust law.

Interaction with representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is also carried out on a regular basis. In 2020, it is planned to hold training activities regarding the implementation of antitrust compliance at enterprises.

Employees of the department regularly take part in the negotiations on the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Agreement on Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union.  During the negotiations, the Antimonopoly Committee staff emphasized the need and reached an agreement on the inclusion of competition provisions in the Agreement, provisions on the exchange of information and best practices in the areas of antitrust regulation, as well as on taking into account antitrust practices.
